Unfortunately I´m pretty stressed out at the moment, so I´m not really having the time to check deviantart regularly or to do new stuff..

Hi guys!

It´s been some time since I was active here on dA - a lot of stuff has been going on.

Also, it´s been a while since i actually got something done that was worth showing anyone. I am thinking of a few different projects that should be fun though, but I think I am retired from armor-making, at least for a while. I´ll be focusing my "creative energy" in other directions

I´ve finally recieved the leather carving tools mentioned in my last journal entry - and they´re really great! But before i try making bigger pieces i think i´ll need a little more training and some better vegetable tanned leather.

Also i plan on experimenting with water molding and hardening leather a bit more. That should make som new things doable too! I´m especially thinking in "irregular" shapes here.

Finally i intend to try out oil burning steel pieces. I´ve been wanting to try it for some time, and it looks pretty sweet when others do it - for instance check out malach-ha-mavet.deviantart.com…

Now i only need more leather and steel, i just found out that i´ve run out! Well, i think i´ll order some during the next few days and then get to work!

I have finally gotten around to trying to increase my skill level in leather crafting - more specifically i have wanted to try out leather carving for a long period of time. And so i have now ordered the tools for it - and i´m very excited! Hopefully this should reveal a whole new world of aesthetics in making leather armour to me

Keep an eye on my gallery, i intend to get to work as soon as it arrives!
